Hi Everyone!  I'm back at work, and it's almost time for finals!  We will review for the final exam a few days this week and next monday as well. 

BEFORE the final

The students finished with the notes i left for chapter 24.  We went over a study guide for this chapter today, and we will test on this chapter either wednesday or thursday this week.  i'd like to test them sooner rather than later so that they can have more time to review for the final exam.  After i review with them tomorrow about chapter 24, i can assess when would be best to test them.  Please have them reviewing for a test soon!

It's been a good year, and i trust we will finish it well.  

We have a combined ch 16 and 17 test scheduled for Wednesday, March 31st.  Below is the study guide. 

1.  Be able to label organisms as either vertebrates or invertebrates

2.  Be able to label organisms as part of one of the following groups:  mollusks, arthropods, echinoderms, fish, amphibians, reptiles

3.  Be able to describe (and identify) characteristics of the 6 groups (above). 

4.  Understand the frog life cycle, incomplete metamorphosis, and complete metamorphosis

5.  Be able to give an organ and the function for each of the following organ systems:  circulatory, nervous, digestive, respiratory, and excretory.  

Our next test is scheduled for Tuesday.

Hi everyone!

We have a vocabulary quiz that is scheduled for Friday, 02/26/10

After the quiz is over, we will further discuss the earthworm, take notes on how to dissect, and may begin a dissection Fri or Mon.  If you would like to have gloves, you will need to bring them to class with you.

Our test for the combined chapters 13 and 14 is Thursday.  

The last day to turn in corrected science fair papers is Friday.
